CA Schools offering programs for MS/OB deficiencies
Hi All! I'm from NJ working as an ER nurse. I applied for a license in CA last year and was given a letter stating that I needed to take MEDSURG and Psych nursing before they can issue me a license. I was just wondering if any of you guys know any school that still accepts students like me. Also, if you guys know any schools here in NJ or NY please let me know! I need help! Thank you very much! Please PM me anytime or shoot me an email at [email protected].

CA BON rejecting the PH courses and schools
"Hello. I am a CA resident but graduated Nursing school in the Phils. I have an RN license in nevada and i am currently processing for the licensure for endorsement to CA BON. I just wanna know what school did you go to. I am a bit worried bec of all the concurrency topics posted. I came from Cebu Doctors' University which is I think 1 of the top 10 med schools in the PH. Are all the PH nurses really gonna be denied? Or is it just depending on the school?" Hey! I tried endorsing my new york rn license in california but I got a letter saying I need to send them copies of my clinical rotation records, curriculum outline, ssn, licensed in the philippines, passport, etc. I'm an american citizen graduated in the Philippines 2007. Ive been here in ny since 2010 working as a telemtry nurse. Im trying to gather all the requirments they need. I hope everything will work out! Let me know about yours. Goodluck!

foreign grad endorsing license to NYC
HI charlottenyc! I too am a foriegn graduate but got my BSN degree. However, I took nclex-rn twice already still no luck! I decided to challenged nclex-pn and passed on the first time! Now, I'm looking for a nursing home or hospital to hire me. Unfortunately, they're looking for experience which I dont have! Oh well, I guess I just have to keep on trying. Im licensed in ny but live in nj. If I were you, I would give NY BON a call and tell them your situation. I think it wouldn't be a problem because you have an lpn license already. You just have to endorse it. Goodluck!

I'm thinking of Joining the Navy as a Nurse... ?
hi! i have a question for you guys...I have 2 degrees, one is an associates degree in computer information systems graduated at de vry university and the second one is a bachelors degree in nursing (foreign graduate, i also got my credentials evaluated which is equivalent to a US bachelors degree in nursing)...also, i am a green card holder or legal permanent resident here in the US... I havent applied for my citizenship yet but will be eligible on november of this year...I would like to join the navy but dont know what to do...should I apply as an officer or should i apply as an enlisted? some of my friends who are in the navy told me that i should wait for my citizenship if i would like to be considered as an officer... I have not taken my nclex rn yet but will soon...I have a family and would like to support them asap...please help me...
