For those who own/wear Sanita shoes

I recently went to a Birkenstock store and put on a pair of Sanita shoes. I thought they were very comfortable, just pricey. To those who wear/own a pair, do you recommend them? How do they feel after a 12 hour shift? Do they hold up well and last a long time? If you don't like them, do you have any other shoe suggestions? I just want some advice before I spend a lot of money on shoes. Thanks.

one of our nps has a pair of sanita clogs -- shiney red ones with big yellow flowers. she loves them!

I had a pair of Dansko's and wore them to death and am now on a pair of Sanita's. (same shoes, sanita used to make shoes for dansko but decided to make them for themselves now, i think, but anyway) I LOVE THEM!!! They are my fav nursing shoes ever. They are a bit heavier than Crocs or such, but they offer alot of support. I had to work a few days without mine, and I thought I'd fall out. I would certainly suggest them to anyone!

I have seven pair of Dansko/Sanita shoes. (Some are one, some are the other). My FAV pair is a pair of Pink Sanitas! I love Pink, and they are SO cool! Summer of 2007, for the First time in my life, I bought and wore flip flops, all summer long. (I found some pink sequined flip flops and HAD to have them. Loved them SO much, I bought three more identical pairs, and I wore them EVERYWHERE, all summer long.) By the end of summer, I had a raging case of Plantar Fascitis. Finally went to see a podiatrist, when I could hardly walk without crying, and he told me to burn the flip flops! Said they were the worst shoes to wear and caused Plantar Fascitis. He recommended Danskos or Sanitas. So I bought a pair of Dansko's and my feet have been getting better since. And my pink Sanitas are now my favorite pair. Only wish I could wear them to work.

i think you'd find yourself in the majority wearing pink clogs where i work! we have red plastic with big yellow flowers, white with pink, blue and green dots, leopard print, bright green, purple and sparkling pink clogs! my own brown and black danskos are rather pedestrian! (and i started wearing them due to a pt's recommendation following a knee injury and now find that i can't wear anything else!)

I wear Sanita clogs. I have had red ones, red with butterflies and blue and white butterfly ones. On average they last me around 2 years. I love them,they are soooooo comfortable! I have had other brands in the past, but they are not as good as Sanitas. Sanitas are a little pricy but well worth it.
