I tried Kaplan at first too and well, Kaplan didn't work for me cuz I felt like twas just the same. Answer a question and they'll explain the rationale. They give tips though on how to answer the questions, but in my opinion those tips were also in the book so yea. Nursing concepts are not discussed so it's really not advisable if you're a graduate from a foreign school.

so i was browsing through the threads and seen that you have a lacharity that is online? what is it exactly? im only familiar with the PDA book and i have been looking around to see if lacharity did make something online like a cd or anything cause i would much rather do that then read it from a book.. if you still reply on here can you email it to me? hi there!!! i took my NCLEX RN exam last week 265Q. i tried PVT went to cc page.. FAILED! went through process of grieving.. it was a horrible experienced. now i pick up mu self and will try again.. i want to enroll in a review class cuz the first i just did self study using saunder's book. i also tried this link http://www.slideshare.net/thinkrn/ka...-sample-exam-5,, before my exam. just wondering guys if its the same question i will get if i purchase kaplan on demand.. im in bad shape right and kaplan online are so expensive... pls guys i really really need your help advices.. any advise will be appreciated! Hi Melai. Same here. I failed on my first try with 75 questions. All I did was self review with Saunders and Lippincott. I think it's very wise to take a review class. I did Kaplan's review classes. They are expensive like you said, but it was worth it for me. I passed the second time with 75 questions as well. Their qbank questions are hard as well, very much nclex-type than the ones you will encounter with saunders, lippincott or whatever reviewer questions you have. Remember, it's not always about remembering content. It's also about picking the right or best answer! Most nclex questions have all right or possible correct answers, you just have to pick the best one. That's what Kaplan teaches, test taking skills. But with review content - all I did was Saunder's. Feuer's is also good.

To prove my point with Kaplan's qbank - I was getting 90-100% scores with Saunder's reviewer, but when I did Kaplan's qbank the first few times, I could barely get above 30%

Matagal na rin. October of last year. Important thing is just stay consistent with your study habit and pray :) I remember before I would spend the whole day for two months just studying. The feeling of failing just sucks and I doubted my own capability kasi nga I failed at the minimum level of questions. But I know you can do it! You got all the way to 265 questions. 50/50 ka. I think you know your content very well. BTW, what state are you in?
