i came up from another site forum and read a thread of an student nursing asking why nurses do leave and rather serve the other countries after graduation. she also wrote about nurses joining the philippine politics....SO I ANSWERED THIS>>>>>> when a nurse do leave this country for a better life then sends dollar to his/her family means he/she is already helping this country full of corrupt politicians and stupid enforcers! See how this country survived the asian economic turmoil back in year 2000 and how peso have gone stronger?...........i may not be a total citizen of this country but i love this country so much! but i dont understand why aside of all those money coming into this country it still suffers from so much poverty...?................maybe you're right! perhaps we could send nurses in the House of Representatives even in the Senate as a partylist group then to become President! hehehe! they say that a nurse could be a fine husband/wife and a great partner in life so i thought that a nurse could be a great leader of this country! see we are strong if we nurses will unite; we can move mountains!

hmmm... yup i agree.... maybe what our country needs is a nurse president... i am surely looking forward to a nurse who would go into politics... maybe if this happens the health care system in our county will improve..

For me, I dont think this is the right site to talked about politices unless it is about nursing issues..... But I'll just say a very short sentence about this... The truth is, our contry is not poor, its just that, most of our officials are corrupt and the money meant for all goes to only one pocket.....
I do agree on a nurse in the senate. Because if we do, nurses will not be the only one who will benefit from this but the whole medical field.....

A nurse-student now based in New York volunteered in this nonprofit in Manila, (website address below) when she was in her first course, maybe this can be a beginning for many of you who want to help in improving health in the poor areas of the country

Then maybe in the future there we can unite for more action

Hello Alma, this is a good idea. I have a brother that is planning to become a nursing student. I want to encourage him to participate in voluntering activities like for charity es[pecially with Christmas season coming around the corner. Can yuo telll me more abt this projects? Thank you, God bless you.
Hi there new friend! I really dont know the deeper
detailed stories of the organization but from hte
website, I think it is doing a lot of good works.
I sent your message to my friend based in New Yor
what she did with the volunteer when she was in Manila.
I do suggest that you click on the website and make
more explorations, the website is quite simple and
just 2 pages at all. Good luck to your brother, I am
also planning to study nursing.
