FNP program at University of southern indiana

Is anyone doing the FNP program online at USI?I wanted to know how the program is,and do we have any difficulty in finding our own preceptors.

I use the deluxe epocrates on my PDA. I just got a Blackberry a few months ago, and I really like the epocrates on this platform. Unfortunately, it has fewer bells and whistles, but the important stuff is still there.

Tammy, I was just accepted to USI. I love Jalane. So far everyone is very nice. I would love to hear more about USI I have to return my acceptance letter by March 26. I also applied to ISU and they said their letters of acceptance will come out next week. Do you know anything about that program there. I have applied for the FNP program at both schools. I would love any info you can give on one or both schools. I thought I read a post by you somewhere that you started at ISU. Why did you leave? :)

When I went to graduation last month, I met all the profs and they seem really nice. I've only worked with the ones in the FNP program though so I can't offer much insight. As far as the students in the ed portion, we really didn't have much contact except in the core program courses. I always did all my group projects alone, though, so I didn't have much contact with them even in those courses.

Does anyone know if USI charges their online distance graduate students that live outside of Indiana in-state or out-of-state fees? I just ask because some schools charge in-state fees for online master's programs, regardless of state of residency. It can make a difference in cost, and thus which schools you apply to. :-)

They charge instate tuition for online courses. I just started last week. They are very reasonably priced.
