FNP-C vs FNP-BC

Is there a benefit of one over the other (FNP-C vs FNP-BC)? Can each advertise they are board certified? If you chose one, would you now in hindsight have chosen the other?

Is there something keeping you from looking at the two websites and seeing for yourself what the requirements and costs are? That seems like the sort of information it would be easy to get on your own.

Thank you for your response. I have, and I believe I understand the requirements and costs. Just wondering if I am missing something because a preceptor may have given me some wrong advise (I.e., ANCC's CH's are more difficult to fulfill because of costs and driving distances). Just wanted to collaborate with others who have more experience than myself. With that being said, ANCC seems to be preferable since it's new update requirements to make it more flexible. Do you have any experiences you'd like to share??
