Has anyone applied to the Angelo State University FNP program that has been accepted and can give me some feedback as to how hard it is to be accepted. I just applied for the fall 2016 cohort and i'm nervous.

Can someone please help me? I am interested in applying to St. David School of Nursing at Texas at State University but have a GPA 2.9 in my BSN program. Should i apply? The minimum in the admission requirement are 3.0 GPA for BSN coursework.

I am searching for an FNP Program, I found Angelo State, and I am working on my application into the Post MSN FNP program. But there are several prerequisites needed first. I plan to take the Patho & Pharm this spring along with the Leadership class which i was told is Angelo State specific and there is no course that could transfer. But I am really confused on the health assessment course with 50 hours. This is odd to me to need this prior to entry into the program. I am just not understanding what this entails. I don't know if i just find a preceptor and shadow them for 50 hours? But if i am not in the program already that is odd to me! Just looking for clarification.
