I found it helpful. I bought mine for $5 on www.half.com. It was an older edition, but it's all the same really. I liked the end of chapter quizzes that helped you know if you were retaining the information.
My son was flipping through it when I was beating F/E into my head last semester. He looked up and said, "The cover lies. This stuff is NOT incredibly easy!"
But yes, compared to the other books, it was great. What helped me the most was learning which electrolytes were in relationship w/each other. Such as when Calcium is down, Phosphorus and blood pH is up. Or sodium and potassium, etc. That way I only had to learn one set of signs and symptoms, then reverse them for the other thing.

Would anyone recommend this book, if so did it help you any.
