Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) Nursing Fall 2023

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello Everyone! I’m currently taking prerequisites and hoping to apply by May 2023 Lord willing. I noticed that the previous program started a post and figured why not get one started for the next class. I’ll update this post when I apply and if/when I get accepted.

@Ycrescencio FSW told you to email castle branch to fix the old dates?

I don't know whether my health documents from my doctor will cover all those vaccine requirements? Or if I should just ask my employer or go to health department?

My covid vaccine card doesn't have the manufacturer written on it so they rejected that one.

I would suggest you ask your employer or health department for a document with all vaccines taken and upload that. I have done that and all my immunizations are green. I just have to finish up my student health report & upload it.

Did you have to contact castlebranch to fix the dates from 2022 to 2023? I'm still waiting to hear back from them

Has anyone checked to see if you're eligible for placement? Mine was updated today at 8:40 AM.

@Newchapter2023

I am wondering the same.. I haven't emailed castlebranch yet.

@Ycrescencio mine updated too, did you get the email?

Also, anyone know how to get the N95 fitting?

I'm at the same step, waiting to be eligible for placement, what's this packet we are supposed to get?

Also has anyone purchased the document manager from castle branch yet?

For the document manager, that's not due until Aug 11th right?

I went ahead and purchased the document manager. There's a lot of vaccine requirements as well as getting a health form filled out by your physician. It's probably wise to get started on it. Mine still says Fall '22. I emailed them on Monday but nothing yet. I did get the second admission packet and my Castle Branch updated the next day to Complete.

I was able to do the N-95 at my job because I already work at a hospital.... ?

I also got the N95 fitting at my job too. How long did it take for your packet to arrive? I'm still waiting on mine. I wonder if it's still coming since the due date for these checklists are due tomorrow the 14th, correct?

I complete all my first section things on 6/28 and I didn't get second packet email til 7/10. Yes, the first checklist will be due 7/14.

OK. Just emailed them, they're working on it. So if anyone else is still waiting for their packages, they're still coming.

I have size XS polo white shirt, small/medium clinical scrub, and XS/small eggplant scrub pants if anyone want them. I'm 5'5, waist 28 and wear a medium shirt. They're in good condition and I'm giving them away. I graduate a last year and cleaning out my closet.
