Hi everyone! It's nice to be here at allnurses, just joined here! Yehey! I am currently processing my application for NCLEX in Florida but I live here in california. I already took my TOEFL exam last saturday (4-25-15) and I am hoping to pass it! Well my question is, does anyone know about Florida BON about their minimum score in the speaking section? Is it 26/24 like the other states? I'm just curious because in the requirements that I have read in their web site, they only need a minimum of 76 in the iBT and does not specify if I need to get a 26 or something on the speaking. If someone has tried applying to Florida for NCLEX, or if you know anything about my concern, it would be a great help for me and i appreciate it! Thanks and have a nice day! :)
Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.
You don't apply for the NCLEX. You apply for a nursing license by examination (in your case as an internationally educated nurse). NCLEX is but one step in the licensing process.
