PTEC Fall 09 Online LPN Students

I have read on here that there are a few that did not like this program. I was accepted to begin this August in the online program and was wondering if anyone has any tips for me. And if there is anyone else here that is starting then.

can anyone in the online class, tell me if they had problems getting their books before classes started? i know you guys were down to the wire on your book list as well. i was giving the new book list last thursday. when to ptec to pick them up on friday ..... guess what? the instructor decided to change the books - again - and now we won't have the new list for two more weeks! why do they do these things at the last minute all the time -- i'm starting to wonder if i am making a mistake going here .... help me out here guys .... now that you have started classes, is it smooth sailing?

We were the first online classs, there were a lot of kinks to work out, but for the most part it was all good. I passed the boards :) how are you liking it so far?let me know if you need anything

congrats on passing the boards :yeah: i don't start my classes until october 29th. i appreciate your offer ..... and i'm sure i will take you up on it too :coollook:

we are using new books this year - but i am on campus ... not sure about the online group ...... if i wasn't going thru this with baycare, i'd buy them from you - but they are picking up my tab :-)

there were a few book-related issues-- wrong cds packaged with books, na books not available in time for class start-- but that all smoothed over pretty easily. we just started out cna-level clinicals, and i'm looking forward to moving along...

Erica, were they getting their LPN or RN? I'm an LPN and really need to go for the RN. No idea where to start or even if my credits will transfer anymore.

At ptec they only have lpn you should try Galen or spc.
