Dsc Fall 2018

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hi! I am anxious of getting into the Dsc fall program. Info session is next week, and I'm waiting to apply and get in. Anyone else applying??

I was originally going to apply to Ucf's bachelor nursing program but my GPA is not competitve at all so I just applied at Daytona State..

:/ and I didn't look into other schools because I didn't think my Gpa would end up so low! D:

Eastern Florida State College acceptance is 2.5, teas score is 64 or 69% to get in.

Rasmussen or Taylor College accepts a gpa as low as 2.5, I believe. They're bothe private schools too, fyi.

I'm applying for the fall. I have a 3.08 GPA :/ My TEAS scores were 66 overall, 80 on reading and 78 on math. Im hoping my GPA doesnt hold me back! I applied for day classes as my first choice an night classes as my second choice.

Hi! Did you get into the fall term rn program?

My GPA was 3.008. Fall '17 GPA cutoff was 3.18, Spring '18 was 3.12

I was told that as well from a guidance counselor, she mentioned one semester's cutoff was a 2.9, but it mainly varies depending on the amount of applications they receive.

Hi, did you get in the program?

Sadly no. The GPA cutoff was 3.31

Oh wow! I wish I could apply to Valencia, I just don't have a 3.0 gpa in my sciences

Sadly no. The GPA cutoff was 3.31

Are you applying again in September?

Yes!! Got accepted! Does anybody know if you can choose between day and night classes ? On the original application I put days, but on the acceptance letter the option is there again. Are you able to change to night instead of day?

Yes! Hopefully the GPA is lower this time. But I'm going to apply at other colleges this time.

Which colleges? And I hope so too. I herd that they only accept applicants from category 1&2

Does anyone know if it is based on total GPA or just the GPA of the classes required? And did everyone get a letter like accepted or not because I didnt receive one yet

It's based off your total GPA at the time that you apply. I had taken other classes towards my bachelors so I could get that once I finished my associates.. I had a couple C's so it brought my GPA down quite a bit.

I received my letter saying that I wasn't accepted because the GPA cut off was 3.31

Hopefully you receive yours soon!

I'm thinking about Valencia. I can't travel far for school so Im looking for schools in the Volusia County area.
