Hi! I'm applying for Fall also! Also nervous, but excited to apply! I'm not in state currently, so I won't be able to attend and info session. I'd love to hear some of the main points they talked about though, if you're willing to share!
Thanks!

Hi Melanie!
The RN A.S program accepts 120 people per semester. Over 300 applicants apply per semester. Day program is T-F 8a-4p. Evening program is M-TH 2-10p. 30 hours a week with lecture, lab and clinicals combined. No summer with a total of 4 semesters. Also, lowest GPA is a 3.2, to be considered competitive.

I'm applying for the fall. I have a 3.08 GPA :/ My TEAS scores were 66 overall, 80 on reading and 78 on math. Im hoping my GPA doesnt hold me back! I applied for day classes as my first choice an night classes as my second choice.
My gpa is a 2.8, I am second guessing myself and applying to the PN program. If then if that doesn't work out, I'll apply for the ASN PROGRAM for spring 2019. I am currently taking 2 classes this summer. My gpa should be like a 3.01 once I'm done. My teas is a overall 69, math is 87, reading is 72.

Hi all,
I've applied for Fall 18. This is my third time applying mainly because of my GPA, which they consider a big factor to getting accepted. (Don't mean to discourage anyone, this is just my experience). Truly hope to getting accepted this coming semester and wish you all the best of luck as well! :)
What was your gpa? ... if you don't mind me asking. And do you know what the previous cut off gpas have been?
I've heard fall has higher gpa cut offs and spring has lower.
Good luck!!!!
My GPA was 3.008. Fall '17 GPA cutoff was 3.18, Spring '18 was 3.12
I was told that as well from a guidance counselor, she mentioned one semester's cutoff was a 2.9, but it mainly varies depending on the amount of applications they receive.
Oh wow.
Fingers crossed that this is the semester for us.
Have you applied to any other nursing schools?

Yes, let's hope so! :)
I've looked at two other schools including Keiser. Keiser guaranteed me a seat for Fall '19 and the other one, if accepted, would be for Spring of '19. How about you?
I was originally going to apply to Ucf's bachelor nursing program but my GPA is not competitve at all so I just applied at Daytona State..
:/ and I didn't look into other schools because I didn't think my Gpa would end up so low! D:
