I am a RN from the Philippines. I have completed every requirement but unfortunately I received a letter about a meeting on December 4 to consider my application. The letter didn't state the reason why but before hand I already tried to make a call to know the status and they said that I lack 13 hours for my clinical in psychiatric, for the rest of my categories I have excessive amount of hours. does anyone had the same situation as mine before? What should I do? and do you guys think I have a better chance of getting the eligibility?

We cannot possibly know the details of your issues. If the Florida BON stated that you need psychiatric hours, I think I would (in your shoes) attempt to either provide evidence of such hours, or if nonexistent, start earning them.
The thing is they didn't formally informed me about the case I just called the representative. and on the letter it just states that I can attend the meeting on december 4 to consider my application. I saw others who were approved a filipina as well..

Make up the hours (very difficult as schools are not likely to permit a visiting student to take one class of a nursing curriculum) or be denied eligibility to take the NCLEX due to not meeting the minimum education requirements set forth by FL BoN. Most US educated applicants meet the minimum hours but not all. Those educated in state meet the BoN requirements as it's a condition of BoN approval for the school.
