Florida International University Opinions???

Published

So I'm well into the process of applying to this school's anesthesia program but I have heard some things lately on another board (not related to nursing) that has me concerned (as to the University as a whole) not specific to the Anesthesia Nursing Program there. Things like: the university is a joke, they couldn't even get their pre-meds from there into medical schools, etc.

I'm looking to hear straight from the horses mouth. People that have attended there, graduated from there, etc. What are your thoughts on the school? I appreciate your honesty. I do not live in Florida so I would not have the inexpensive tuition that some have the luxury of. For my hard earned $$$ I expect a great program. PM me if you are more comfortable doing so, otherwise please post up.

Thanks so much.

I am a current studebnt in FIU's CRNA school. I am very happy...tired, though. It's hard work. They expect a lot, but I am glad of that. I am definitely glad that I am a student here. And, you can get the out of state tuition the second year.

bump...i too am interested in hearing opinions as i have an interview for their program starting fall 09
