I have used the PASSCCRN book, the Linda Gasaparis DVD's and her handouts, and the PASSCCRN CD. The PASSCCRN book would take a loooong time to get through. I found the Gasparis DVD's, the Gasparis handouts, and the PASSCCRN CD the best to prepare. I passed the first time with a very good score considering I have only been a nurse and in ICU for just over 1 year.

So I'm well into the process of applying to this school's anesthesia program but I have heard some things lately on another board (not related to nursing) that has me concerned (as to the University as a whole) not specific to the Anesthesia Nursing Program there. Things like: the university is a joke, they couldn't even get their pre-meds from there into medical schools, etc. I'm looking to hear straight from the horses mouth. People that have attended there, graduated from there, etc. What are your thoughts on the school? I appreciate your honesty. I do not live in Florida so I would not have the inexpensive tuition that some have the luxury of. For my hard earned $$$ I expect a great program.
