What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing the process of being accepted, waitlisted, or rejected from a program, with some sharing their experiences of receiving alternate list offers. There is also a conversation about the size of the cohort and the possibility of more acceptances from the waitlist before the program starts. Additionally, members are providing updates on when they received offers and the deadlines for responding.

Hello! I wanted to create this thread for updates for those applying to FIU's CRNA for Spring 2026!!

That sounds odd. My interview is not until mid May. 🤔

Oh I think I understand. They meant acceptances and declines of the interview itself?! I was like wait...

On the interview invite it states that they won't send out your exact interview time until they have finalized every group time slot. They must be still finalizing everyone who said yes or no to the interview!

How are you guys preparing for this interview? I don't even know where to begin LOL

I've been rereading my CCRN books, reviewing commonly used meds and devices I use on my unit, and practicing emotional intelligence questions. I have never done a group interview so this will be different from the other ones I have done.

Interview dates are confirmed. Check emails

I received a interview invite!

Specializes in Critical care float pool.

is it me or does a 4 and 1/2 hour long interview seem intense?

I'm in the same boat. I have an interview with another school that's only 30 minutes long :)) but FIU is my top choice so knowing the interview will be 4.5 hours makes me a little nervous. That said, the staff seems very friendly, and I'm sure they'll do their best to make us feel comfortable and ensure the process is fair

Specializes in Adult Critical Care/ICU.

Im in limbo. No invite or rejection. What's the total seats? Any more interviews to be sent out?
