Had a great friend that actually was in the first graduating class of this University. She reported that the program was cutting edge and she loved it. Of course, there were many kinks to work out during their first year, but she graduated and passed boards without any trouble.

Good luck wiht your decision to go there ... it is a beautiful campus and a great program.

No actually, I have lost touch wioth her since graduation ... she and I worked together for several years and she opted to go through the BSN program at Gulf Coast and I opted to go through the ADN program at Manatee Community College. But it is fair to say that she did love that school. In fact, I thought about going there to finish my BSN, but ended up moving to North Carolina.

Do you need to take any Tests to get into Florida Gulf Coast University. I'm planning in attending this school. I've heard people talk about how great their nursing program is. Is it a very competitive school? What do they go by when selecting you into the program. please tell.
