Hi guys, applying at FGCU and just wanted to keep in touch with the others applying as well. I know this is a bit early since the deadline is not until September.

I'm sorry. Some ideas on what you can do in the next year could be to get your CCRN if you don't have it already, continue building on your experience during the next year and take some courses like organic Chemistry or biochemistry to show that you're still building on your knowledge in the waiting period.

I agree 100%. CCRN is a great certification to obtain. I’m so sorry you didn’t get accepted, but don’t get discouraged! Take this year to save up some more money, and also try to get experience in CVICU. They highly value that because it gives you a great foundation for CRNA school. I also recommend the CRNA School Prep Academy website. I used it a lot. It’s $20/month I believe, but totally worth it. Lot’s of good insight on how to build a strong application as well as educational material. Good luck!! You got this! ??⚡️

Sorry to hear that! Try to find out from the program regarding waitlist invitations. I found joining the FB group CRNA prep academy very helpful, and also if you really don't hear anything from FGCu maybe asking them what you can do to boost your application. Best of luck to you!
