No advice for you there. Most hospitals do not hire LVNS if that is what you are looking for. There are hardly an LVN jobs because they are hiring RNs to those positions because there is literally far more RNs in California than there are positions.
Do not move here without already having a job lined up. If you search the boards you will see countless nurses on here who moved to California and were unable to find anything and ended up broke and having to move elsewhere.
Thanks for the advise Nicki.... however my family and i are moving because of my husbands job not to mention are whole family is in Cali. so for us it's moving back home. sucky part is that i saw all the post and i'm really nervous about moving back without a job. just not an option that we wanted but i guess i'll have to get a "regular" job in the mean time! thanks for the reply

If you have experience as a LVN in Florida your chances of finding a job are better than those new graduates who don't have any. What can you do? You're moving with your husband whose job transfered back to CA. So it's not like you have an option. I know there is a lot of negative posts out there from posters but in all actuality that's what's really going on here in CA. I wish it were better for all of us. Most of us are taking on jobs that we really don't want but when you have a family to support you really have no choice. Hope you find a job soon. Good Luck
