FIU Generic BSN Fall 2021

Hey guys!! I realized that a thread for FIU’s Generic BSN program have not been created yet so I decided to start one. Submitted my application earlier today and I am so nervous!

Feel free to share your experience, stats, or anything else that you’d like.

I also applied and got into Nova and UCF but hoping to get into FIU as I am not looking to transfer. Both of you guys have really good stats! Like @Ash1727 said, I wouldn’t worry too much about not having any community hours because your GPA is literally perfect, plus you have a really good TEAS score. 
Unfortunately I only have FIU. I did apply for UCF, got denied, but I expected that since when I applied my first TEAS attempt was not so good. Because of that rejection letter from UCF, I literally overthink everything so I understand how you feel.
Stats: 

Overall: 3.86

Science: 4.0

Overall TEAS: 92.7

Science: 91.5

Volunteering Hours: 470

Yes, I am a transfer from MDC. Are you guys transfer or FIU students?

Thank you guys so much! 
I’m also a transfer, I’m applying from BC. 
I know that some schools are a little harder on transfers so that’s why I some time overthink.

Is there any way to look at the nursing program stats? I am curious as to how many people apply more or less. They just sent out an email saying they got more applications this year

Not that I know of. Maybe someone else reading this could shed some light on this.

I saw the email and I freaked out. FIU’s Generic BSN program doesn’t have any stats uploaded online which doesn’t give us any peace of mind. I’m not surprised that there’s an increase in the number of applicants as other programs have experienced the same but now I’m concerned because my deposit is due for the other programs that I was admitted to and we won’t have a response from FIU until early June.

I hope all of you are doing well in such a stressful time, but as I am applying to Nursing 2021 Fall at FIU I also feel that stress. I wanted to see what you guys think of my score and if it's even any good. I applied solely to FIU. Thus, I am worried. Thank you for your time and consideration. I wish you all the best of luck in your applications and to those that have already surpassed this obstacle.

Science: 3.7

Overall TEAS: 82.7

Science: 89.4

Volunteering Hours: 0

Hopefully! at this point we shouldn't even stress about it because it is what it is, I'm sure you'll be fine also! Are you a transfer or a current student?
