  1. Congrats to everyone who have been accepted so far! I’m pretty sure more letters are coming out soon. If you guys are interested in being a part of a group for our cohort, please email me using this email I just created: [email protected]
  2. Don’t worry, they usually send out decisions in quarters so I’m sure more letters will be going out soon. My guess is that they only sent out the first quarter so far.
  3. I am not sure how they go about doing it, but I literally just got mine.
  4. Guys decisions are going out! Just got mine.
  5. Not that I know of. Maybe someone else reading this could shed some light on this.
  6. Thank you guys so much! I’m also a transfer, I’m applying from BC. I know that some schools are a little harder on transfers so that’s why I some time overthink.
  7. Both of you guys have really good stats! Like @Ash1727 said, I wouldn’t worry too much about not having any community hours because your GPA is literally perfect, plus you have a really good TEAS score. Unfortunately I only have FIU. I did apply for UCF, got denied, but I expected that since when I applied my first TEAS attempt was not so good. Because of that rejection letter from UCF, I literally overthink everything so I understand how you feel. Stats: Overall: 3.86 Science: 4.0 Overall TEAS: 92.7 Science: 91.5 Volunteering Hours: 470 @Atixc are you a transfer?
  8. Phew ? Thank God. I was a bit worried that I had to send my TEAS scores to the nursing department from the testing center. No, neither have I. Maybe the only email we will get is when we’re notified of a decision.
  9. I have two questions @Ash1727 if you don’t mind. When you took the TEAS at FIU you did not have to go on ATI to transfer it to the nursing department correct? Also, have you received an email from the nursing department that your Nursingcas application has been received?
  10. It’s quite possible that it will increase. I know that at UCF they saw a 26% increase in applicants this year. https://nursing.ucf.edu/news/wftv9-ucf-college-of-nursing-sees-spike-in-applications-during-the-pandemic/ Let’s just hope for the best like you said!
  11. Let’s hope for the best ? Do you think COVID-19 has an impact on how many people applying this year?
  12. Yes! ? I’m not sure if much has changed but acceptance letters usually go out between May 11th to as late as the first week of June. Hopefully we don’t have to wait until June!
  13. Hey guys!! I realized that a thread for FIU’s Generic BSN program have not been created yet so I decided to start one. Submitted my application earlier today and I am so nervous! Feel free to share your experience, stats, or anything else that you’d like.
  14. Hey guys! Created an account to comment on this as well. Spoke to someone in the nursing department and I was told that they have over 700+ application for the Traditional BSN program alone this year. When I heard I was so shocked I had to ask her to repeat herself 3 times.
  15. Not sure about their rate but I do know that FIU only accepts 120 students per application cycle. I hope you got the score you wanted on the TEAS!
