I realized there was no forum for this year and was hoping we could all share stats and information about our application process!

You summed up everything I am feeling. The anticipation is driving me mad. Let's cross our fingers we find out this week.

So... I hate to be the bearer of bad news... I just called over to the Nursing Department and they said that they will probably start releasing the emails the last week of March. The week of the 28th, and that they will release them in groups on different days of the week. They said that we should all have them by the end of May. I wanted to let everyone know so that we can all TRY to maintain our sanity for the next 12 days or so... lol... like maybe we should start planning some group activities or a game to entertain ourselves & keep busy... lmao! Hopefully they start sooner than later, but I have officially told myself that they will not start until then- let's see how that goes...as I like OCD check my email even at 3 am in my sleep... OMG- days have never felt so long! :0

It is after 5pm, so it is officially 11 more days until that Monday... the countdown has begun & is in full effect! lmao... that is what they told me when I called, so instead of going crazy every day, I figure it will start that Monday like they said. If they start sooner, I will be happily suprised :) instead of being disappointed every day. This whole thing is a stressful process and in the end, we don't even know if we will be happy or not with the outcome. One way or another, I know that we have all worked very hard for this, and nothing should to stop us from smashing our goals. I want this- but I also know that the spots are limited & a lot of other people do to. Hopefully, we can all go on this journey together. But I know in the end, what is meant to be will be and everything happens for a reason. Let's try to keep our heads up & our fingers crossed ;)

Hello everyone! I'm also an MDC transfer. I had my transcripts expedited on Monday May 14th. NursingCAS received and processed them by May 16th, however, I just noticed the last semester's coursework is not yet verified. This means the application is still incomplete, neither the last semester's coursework or GPA have been updated. I was not aware that even a simple process like this would take some time. This may explain why the nursing department won't start releasing the emails until the last week of May. The anticipation is killing me !

Antuan1987- I am also curious as to how many people applied this year. I do know for certain that it is more than 300 people from a previous conversation that I had with someone in the nursing department, but I am not sure how many more.

Dswerve- I had my transcripts expedited after I finished my last class & they were received before the end of the month at both places. When I log in to Nursing CAS, & click "STATUS" all the way to the right in big blue letters, a box pops up under "MY PROGRAMS", "APPLICATION STATUS" that says "VERIFIED". But when I click to download the application PDF under the academic history in the transcripts, it says WINTER 2018 is completed-but UNVERIFIED. I don't know if this is going to change or not, since I have submitted them already with a pretty decent amount of time passing. At first, I was driving myself crazy. Now, I am actually surprisingly calm. Patience is definitely a virtue that I have never had! Lol... I guess this whole experience has forced me to better cope creatively with waiting an extended period of time for my unknown fate... I just want to know already either way. We are so close to finding out!!! I hope everyone enjoys their LONG WEEKENDDDDD!!! ;)

Hey, the same thing happened to me. I called and they had me manually change it from "in progress" to "complete" and then update the grade from "IP" to whatever grade you got in the class. They don't do it for you.
