FIU Generic BSN Fall 2018

I realized there was no forum for this year and was hoping we could all share stats and information about our application process!

Hey disneylove225! When u guys did ur applications last year did you guys do it through Nursing CAS? Just curious since it seems no one has said that they have gotten a confirmation email this year like we have seen in previous threads for other years. Ty ;)

Ney1234 & Milenia- I don't know if you guys are able to see the same thing on your end or if yours has been updated yet, but I just logged into the My FIU student portal and I was able to see you two green dots saying- complete- that have appeared under the- student center- admissions- my applications. Maybe that is the way now instead of the email. OMG-I keep checking everything obsessively í ½í¸‚ lmao

@AngelBb I just logged in and it says my application is under review! Ahh!!! The suspense is killing me!!! I am also checking everything on a daily... lol

I think this the first year they use NursingCAS for applications :)

Hey guys! So there is another forum for FIU Nursing 2018 and it says that the first batch of acceptances are going out today, maybe??!! aahhhh!!! Where are you able to see that? On myFIU?

Hey ksanc22! Under the MY FIU portal, all the way in the bottom where it says ADMISSIONS, above the MY APPLICATIONS box there is a green dot that says COMPLETE and on the right inside part of it next to FALL 2018 I also have a green dot. But if I click on APPLICATION STATUS, it says "APPLICATION UNDER REVIEW: YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN REFERRED TO THE DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR DECISION IN WRITING BY OUR OFFICE, ONCE A DECISION HAS BEEN REACHED".

That's so strange, for me it says I have no pending applications. Did you apply through NursingCas? That's how I applied so maybe that's why it's not coming up on myFIU even though I'm pretty sure that's how everyone had to this time, so I'm not sure why it's not showing up for me :(
