FIU Fall 2011

It's that time again...the dreadful waiting period. I applied (in part) to FIU's fall 2011 generic BSN program. The anticipation of finding out my admissions status is driving me crazy! I've checked my email and called numerous times today to get an idea of when we will be finding out but to no avail. Has anyone else applied to this program? If so maybe we can help keep each other sane LOL.

Hey! Just got off the phone with American Databank... They said we only need to provide the city, state, and zip code of the places we've lived. And if we lived within the same county all those times, we can group them into one entry. Example: I lived in four different places within Los Angeles County so I can put Los Angeles, CA 90048 and be done with LA. At least that's what they just told me.. If you want to run it by them yourself call: [phone]. Can't wait to see the class of '13!

Hi guys!!! I got in too!!! So exciting.. I'm also freaking out about that background check.. I lived in Los Angeles for a while and can not remember for the life of me all the addresses I lived in!! I wonder if that's going to be a problem?!?! Guess we'll all be meeting at orientation!!

Hey! Congrats! I don't think the background check will be a problem. I had weird little issues and it went through just fine. Can't wait to meet you guys at orientation!

Hi everyone! congrats on getting accepted!!! I'm currently looking to FIU's nursing program and was wondering- what is your GPA that you were accepted with?

Mine was a 3.857 overall and a 4.0 in the pre-reqs. Think they said the average for this year's class was a 3.7 overall. Hope that helps.
