Hi everyone! I started this forum since there was not one for fiu 2017 yet. We can share our stats and information for next fall.

Grades are released, so hopefully they'll start sending letters next week.

I really hope it's this week! Do you think they will wait until the final transcripts are sent from transfers? It looks like they sent decisions before final transcripts the last two years based on the other forums.

Oh yeah they might be waiting for final transcripts from transfer students. I just looked at my college's transcript page and it says any final transcripts we've ordered will be going out on Monday May 8th, maybe it's the same for other colleges as well. Perhaps this week could be the week.

Hey guys! So I actually responded to the email they sent out 3 weeks ago and I asked them when they will send out emails. They said that they were waiting for final grades and that they are aiming to let us know by the end of May at the latest :/

I didn't apply anywhere else, I wanted to go to UCF so bad but I couldn't apply because I needed to have a certain amount of prereq's done before applying. If I don't get in FIU this round I'm planning on working on my community hours and getting some experience in a hospital setting so I have more to offer than just my GPA while I wait for the next cycle. Then I'll apply next cycle except not just to FIU, I'll go for UCF, USF, FSU and UF (even though this one is quite the long shot, I hear they only accept about 5 transfer students). Won't put my eggs all in one basket again!

Nova's a good school! I hope you get a response soon! It's still early, they may not have started sending out letters yet.

I was thinking about UF and UCF too but it was too late to apply. I hope we all just get in this cycle for FIU so we don't have to go through all the applying again!! Yeah I heard novas good but its really expensive and thank you, I hope so!

Yes! Hopefully we all get in lol. Yea Nova is bit expensive, this is why FIU is so ideal because it is cheap and for me it is close to my home lol. The application process is tedious, hopefully we won't have to go through it again. But even if we don't it won't be the end of the world! There's always another way.

I just wish we could know the verdict already though, the anticipation is seriously killing me. I've been checking my email every single day since last Monday. And now it seems we may be stuck waiting even longer.

I actually just applied to USF and FIU. I was admitted to USF a week ago and now I just have to wait to get a response from their nursing school. The wait from both schools is giving me anxiety lol.
