Hi everyone! I started this forum since there was not one for fiu 2017 yet. We can share our stats and information for next fall.

wow you got a really high teas score, your stats are awesome ! which school are you coming from? I heard that fiu takes a lot of Miami dade transfers

I think decisions come out in May based on the other forums from earlier years

Thanks! I hope it's enough! I do not have much community service hours so that is already some points off. I'm transferring from Miami Dade! You're a transfer too?

And yeah I've read some of the forums too, they should definitely come out in May or at the latest the first week of June.

Oh, you guys I've received the email confirming that my application was received! They're saying final decisions will come out within the next two to three weeks.

Hi guys, this is the first forum I've seen on FIU nursing for fall 2017 and I'm super nervous. I hope my scores are competitive enough. My TEAS was 87 overall and 93 in science and my overall gpa is 3.6 with 3.78 gpa in nursing prerequisites. I also have about 130 community service hours this year and I work at a hospital. Hopefully I stack up against the other candidates.

93 in science??? That's amazing!! Tomorrow is two weeks from when they sent out the email guys!! í ½í¸®í ½í¸®í ½í¸® I hope they send the decisions tomorrow

Thanks haha. My math and science on the TEAS were both over 90 but I got a 79 on the reading/writing so it brought my overall down:( But yea I really hope they do start sending out letters tomorrow cus I'm losing sleep thinking about his whole thing. Good luck to everyone!

Hey! Oh the writing portion was what brought my teas score down too lol ugh. I think you stack up great! That science score and your hours and experience definitely give you an edge.

I think this coming week will be the week we find out ;)
