FIU FALL 2017 generic bsn

Published

Hi everyone! I started this forum since there was not one for fiu 2017 yet. We can share our stats and information for next fall.

I havent gotten the bill for my titers yet but I think if you can go to a place like quest diagnostics and they will do it for you, I did mine at my primary though.

Does any one know where I can get an influenza shot. I didn't get one last year and the places I have gone aren't carrying them right now.

Hey guys!

I'm Madeline, Treasurer of FIU's Student Nurse's Association (SNA), and on behalf of the entire Class of 2018 just wanted to congratulate you on all of your acceptances!! Super proud of you and can't wait to see you guys move onto the next step in your journey of becoming a registered nurse :)

We know how hectic these next few weeks are, what with going to orientation and getting all your Complio requirements completed. That being said, 2018's SNA has set up a CPR training course right at FIU that will fulfill the Complio's requirements. The first available CPR training will be June 10th from 8am-12pm, will cost $50,and we will be collecting payments right at orientation (accepting cash, venmo, cash app, and check). If you can't make it to the June 10th training, don't worry we will be making several more dates available for you guys! If you are interested in going to this first training please reply or message me your full name and phone number so we have an idea of how many of you will be able to make it.

Also a little word of advice, if you do go anywhere else for your CPR certification, please make sure it is the American Heart Association's (AHA) certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care professionals, as we had a few students in our class waste their money getting certified with other organizations because it was non-compliant!

Congrats again and we are all looking forward to seeing your incoming class of 2019!

Does any one know where I can get an influenza shot. I didn't get one last year and the places I have gone aren't carrying them right now.

You have to wait until 8/1 per Complio's description. Not valid if done before.

I emailed Christian and this is what he told me about the flu shot: we are aware that the flu shot has not been distributed yet for this upcoming season. You can have this item pending on your Complio account until they become available. That should be sometime in August.

Is anyone's fingerprinting completion taking a long time? Mine is

Mine did too. I ended up calling complio a few days ago and they led me to calling Daon. Daon told me to give them 4-6 business days, even though it had basically already been 6 business days. But then I got a follow up call the next day from Complio that they resolved the issue for me. Now when I log in to Complio it says the fingerprinting has been completed with a green check mark but then when I take off the pop up and look at the regular page it's still an X. Lol idk I may have to call again for that. I also need to call for my employment check because that's taking forever as well. Call Complio and they'll help you out!

Their number:

Okay Im gonna call, Thank you!!

Hey guys congratulations on being accepted in the BSN program. It is very competitive, one more reason for you to be proud for being accepted. My advice is to get all your complio done. They are aware that flu season does not start until August 1st so no need to worry about it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. FIU BSN class of 2018 will be glad to assist.

Good luck to you all...

I have 2 small men top and 1 medium pants that I have never worn. The bookstore would not take them back because I put my initials on the tag. If you are interested send me an email @ [email protected]

I did my fingerprints before anything else and I have the same issue! It says its complete on the pop up lini but when you scroll down to FBI fingerprint it says incomplete. I remember them telling me that it takes a while for that one to show up as complete but I am going to give it another week to see what's going on there

Usually the reason why the employment verification takes so long is because they can't get a hold of someone. Mine was completed within a week but one of my employers took a while to get a hold of
