Someone asked regarding clinical sites , well right now Spring and Summer is only online classes we don’t have clinicals, I cant answere the questions regarding the pairing in the OR because we don’t have clinicals yet.
Regarding interviews day , please be confident, last year they didn’t ask anything clinicals mostly personal. I will STRONGLY advice try to read the AANA and get involved with the association news and updates. Just in case they ask you about u have a backbone, also if they don’t ask a try not to be extra an answer something different. Remember you answer should be simple and precise. Don’t be a hero and start talking about something else they didn’t ask because they will drill you on that if you go that route. Ask yourself why u want to go to FIU, what makes FIU a good school. Make sure you know thy have one of the best STAR CENTER , LOOK IT UP IN THE WEBSITE.
FIU VS UM
Guys both program are good and well done , some are different structure and they are more expensive. It depends what you want to do , if you want to get out of your way the DNP classes before starting clinicals and the heavy anesthesia then FIU is your program. If you like to have mixed classes between anesthesia and DNP together then UM. Also remember u guys need to pay more at UM because is a private institution, has nothing to do with if is better than FIU or Barry.
You WILL BE FINE
THANKS

I am scrambling to at least be enrolled in the class so it doesn't look like my application is incomplete! What do I do? I am having trouble even finding the course number at some schools...
Hi, I have the same issue. I did not have patho on my BSN, and Mayrelis told me that those courses are recommended, not prerequisites as stated in Nursing CAS, so we should be fine.
Hi guys! I'm recently working on my app for FIU but I saw the grad app was due on May 1 but I turned it a few days ago...and I almost have my nursing one completed. Would I still be able to apply? If not then I'm not gonna turn in the nursing one...I emailed and called but nothing ?good luck to everyone btw!

What do you mean by nursing one? Like one year of experience or a class?

Where are you checking your application status? Mine just says "posted" on the FIU grad application.
