FIU Accelerated Option BSN FALL 2022

Hello! I have created this space since there wasn't one available. Here we can discuss any details regarding the admission process for the Florida International University Accelerated BSN program for Fall 2022.

Is anyone else shocked that in the admissions email it says all classes will be held on the Biscayne Bay campus? I was never informed of this earlier and it's nowhere on the FIU AO BSN website. I'm pretty upset as that campus is extremely far for me.

Yes! I expected it to be at MMC too. I emailed Christian and he said it was a recent change made by administration.

I'm going to email them about the campus change. I'm very upset. How can the administration make a change like this after the application due date? I did so much research on the program prior to applying and it became my first choice school.

I just received the decision from admissions earlier this afternoon! I was accepted, I am so excited!!  Congrats to everyone who got in! Fingers crossed for everyone here waiting for a response! Did not know about the Biscayne campus swap, this will be interesting.

I was deciding between the two last month. I had the interview at Nova and the campus is very nice but I've decided to choose FIU since it starts this Fall and the tuition cost is not super crazy compared to Nova.

How long did they give those who have received an acceptance to accept their place in the program ? I’m still waiting for a response anxiously

Heads up, I checked myFIU student portal and FIU admissions has been updated, but you have to either accept/decline.

Thanks for the heads up! Just FYI once you accept, you have to immediately pay the $200 deposit.

I got accepted to FIU but being at the Biscayne Bay Campus makes it logistically very difficult for me, I had to decline due to this ? and selected my other option /school instead
