This is the most horrific exam ever invented. I shut off at 88 and just went out to my car and started crying. I have never felt so horrible after an exam in my life. I got about 10 ventilator questions and all I could think was I am not taking an exam to be a CCRN. It was horrible and I just know that I did not pass and the worst part is California does not participate with Pearson Vue to let you get your results in 48 hours so I just have to wait. It totally sucks.

Ione, I suggest you call BON. A friend of mine got 75 questions and she didn't see her name on the website after checking for 10 days. Finally, she called BON and they said they are missing her fingerprint. So they fixed it, the next day her name is on the website, she passed. Call BON to see if they have all the paperwork they need.

You are definitely not alone.....I shut off at 75 and I was sure I failed too. I literally fell of my chair when I saw a license # next to my name on the website....it took 10 days of checking the website every day like a fanatic....I cried uncontrollably in happiness when I found out. It was the hardest test for me too.....I got a lot of priority questions 2 yrs ago and I hear that the boards have changed and have a lot more now....You could definitely tell when level 4 and 5 questions were coming. If you missed one you went to an easier one and if you got that right it got hard again. It must have just taken 88 questions to determine at what point you had 51 percent correct according to what an entry level nurse should know. (I also found that there were a lot of 2 answers were right questions) I have heard a lot of people say stuff about the last question being "the one" and if you got it right you passed. I don';t hardly think this can really be the case based on how randomly the computers shut off. I have also heard that anyone who got only 75 questions passed too but a friend of mine got 76 and failed 3 times!!!!!!!!!!:imbar There are some that have said that they got the whole kit and kabuddle and some passed and some failed (the vice-president and valedictorian of my class failed with the whole kit and kabuddle. I was told that it depends on what test was downloaded randomly to your computer gets the whole damn thing. Let me know how you did....([email protected]) Cheers!

ione,

What state do you live in, because most states let you go on the Pearson Vue website and get your results after 72 hours.

Keep the faith, it is not over until the big envelope comes....

thank you for your suggestion, jazz. but the thing is.. i am under CA-BON and i did not provide SSN (since i am a foreign RN). it's just that the suspense is killing me :rotfl: anyway, good luck to all of you who are awaiting your results.

Just a question: So when I take the exam, I don't want a big envelope? What is the envelope if you passed? Thanks.

If you pass you get your license if you don't you get a packet with an application to retest.

Most of us don't feel good after taking exams like that. The waiting is the hard part. Good luck.
