Anyone take the Arnett test?

We had to take it twice last semester (once in the beginning, once at the end). It was a humbling and informative experience, since it was computer adaptive and said to mimic the NCLEX. First time I ever took a test where I had missed almost half the questions! Anyone take it? Was it similar to the NCLEX? Was your pass/fail prediction accurate?

Seems to me that much of the NCLEX experience has to do with the feeling of "failure" when you realize you're missing 1/2 the questions!!

testing on Wednesday 6/16 at 9:00!!

I took the Arnett my last semester. I found that it was so wordy and long. I rushed through the whole thing and barely passed. I will find out soon if it mimics the NCLEX. I haven't received my ATT yet. Let me know, if the Arnett was at all similar to the NCLEX. I hope not. The set up of the questions was crazy. I really didn't like it.

Good luck on the NCLEX.

I took the Arnett test last semester. I also missed almost half the questions but scored really well. I took the NCLEX last Wed. and had the same feeling when I finished it--it did seem to be pretty similar. My instructor said that students who passed the Arnett test with a .7 or better seemed to have no problem passing the NCLEX. Of course I am still waiting for my NCLEX results and it is killing me!! GOOD LUCK!

Well, I should know after Wednesday (if it was similar) and by Friday if it was a good predictor (Pearson early results). I also did really well on the Arnett (well above .7) so I'm optimistic. When will you find out your results? How many questions did you get??

Thanks for the response!! Hope you get your "passed" results soon!

In Alabama we have to wait until they are mailed--probably about two weeks. There is a number you can call to see if they have issued a license under your social security number, but it isn't always updated real quick. I only got 75 questions on the NCLEX--I'm hoping that's a good sign.

Good luck on Wednesday!! :)
