first semester 99.9% done

Hey yall!

I am almost done with my first semester just waiting for finals this week which will be brutal!!! tuesday fundamentals comprehensive final and then thurstay we will have pharm comprehensive final!!!

I averaged my grades and I need to score 58% of my finals in both classes to be able to pass, hopefully that won't

be a problem !!!

last week we had or medpass proficiency test, oh my gosh, talk about a drill, you are presented a scenario 1 on 1 and have to find mistakes on mar, know all your drugs, interactions and what you are doing and they throw the questions at you LOL (of course you could use your drug book)

our teachers are so cool, they created the whole scenario, adding extra info from fundamentals, pct safety, call light , making sure we raised the side rails!!! it was so cool to see our brains kinda trying to work!!! now we can officialy pass meds, that is to the ones who passed it! otherwise you still have to try it again!

we are all done with our first rotation of clinicals, going onto 2 days a wweek now 1 medsurge 1 ob!!!

blah... too much to study, and i am taking it easy!!! you can't cram!!! if you know you know!

i am reviewing some study notes, and going over things... but... there is no way i am staying up all night!!!

i am tired already!

Good luck with your finals this week. You will feel 100% reliedved when you are done, but then soon come the stressors of second term.

Our instructor pulled some questions from previous tests throughout the term. I always did so much better on the finals. Here is another way to think about it, everything that will be on the final are things that you have been implementing in a clinical setting all term.

wow cant believe it... finals are done, grades were posted... humpf

now it is 9 am and i am waking up !!!! feels wonderful!!!

i am still having nightmares with pharmacology, I dreamed that the state had issue mandatory pharmacology 2 for nurses!!! LOL

i am so over that class!!! too many things to remember, i even forgot who i was! lol!!!

well... it is officially over the 1st semester... and over all i could say it was very challenging !!!

oh lol on my pharmacology ATI i scored 68 lol... that is level 2 thougg! good enough i guess!

now next monday we will start medsurge/OB

and will have 2 clinical days

i am tired already!!!!

i think we're about 97% done. two more class days one more clinical. i'm pretty sure lecture is a pass with either a c+ to mid b. clinical is pass/fail and who knows what my ci is going to do. i only had one thing to work on at midterm since then it's like she's totally changed, if i have to repeat, i have to.
