First Semester Almost Over!!!!!!!!!

2 more weeks here too! We have the head to toe assessment, 2 more clinical days and our final.

Heck yeah thank GOD it is almost over, and I made it!

I'm glad the First Semester will be over soon - but they've saved some of the hardest stuff for last. I just did the physical assessment skills check-off yesterday in front of the Instructor - so stressful, but I passed. We have the dreaded pass/fail "dosage calculation test" on Monday, a major Muscle test on Tuesday (all in Latin, that'll be easy - NOT) and Med. Administration written exam on Wednesday. Next Monday we go for two more weeks of clinicals at a long term facility (meaning more care plans to do) and during those 2 weeks we have to head back to school to be "checked-off" on med. administration procedures. Then - 2 more days of lectures - and unbelievably our last test will be on December 14th and our Final Exam in Nursing is the very next day on the 15th, followed by the Final in A&P.
My oldest Son attends a local University and the week after Thanksgiving is called "dead week". A chance for the students to study for Finals and for anyone that needs to make up tests, etc. to do so. No such thing at my school - we just keep at it until the end with no break.
I'm very glad that I have God and Prayer in my life - especially at times like this. Someone on AllNurses said - "If God brings you to it, he'll see you through it". Those are words that keep me heading back to school each day and trying my best. I feel that he got me to this point in my life and with his continued help - I'll be able to finish what I started.

Just a few more weeks and my first semester is OVER. Sad yes, but glad yes.

Well, I'm glad everyone is as happy as me about 1st semester being over!

All we have left is 161 exam, check offs on injections, and trach care!!!

Two more weeks

I wish everyone luck on finals, and enjoy your month off before second semester.

For me it's three more weeks? My last exam is Dec.15, but I'm still celebrating! I really need a break as well. Handed in 5 assignment today and have a big BIO test tomorrow!

I have 3 weeks left as well. My exam isn't until the 16th. :rolleyes:
