First RN job interview help!

What's the best attire I could have to knock their socks off and leave a great lasting impression.

What all happened with your interview? Scenarios? What would you do style questions? Medication tests (what was on it)?

Tips for for aceing the interview?!

Thanks!!

Dress professionally. Slacks, a button up and a blazer. Do NOT show any cleavage. Comb your hair and brush your teeth. Google RN interview questions online. Some common questions, questions I actually got asked, "why do you want to work here" "what are your strengths/weaknesses, "what was your most difficult patient" "what was your favorite clinical" "what was your least favorite clinical". Definitely do your research on the organization/ hospital!!! Bring a copy of your resume and references.

Been asked all of ques. in comment prev. You have to convince them your "lack of knowledge" won't be burden to yhers. HR doesn't realize you may know new tech's thst the others would like to hear. Don't pretend to know it all. They won't like it, neither will coworkers. Praise them as wonderful learning opportunity, ideal for first job, if they are. Explain your attributes and how you will benefit them.

GOOD LUCK! Hope your 1st job is wonderful! Been LPN 34 yrs-still going strong.

As others have said, dress professionally. It's better to over do it than to come in underdressed. It's a good idea to research your organization's goals/values. Shake the interviewers' hands before you take a seat. Have several copies of your cover letter and résumé available.

I had several interviews with different organizations. All of them asked me scenario questions (what would you do if...?), questions about my personality, and my reasons for wanting to work with their organization. I was nervous, but played it off pretty well. Be as confident as you can when you interview! Good luck!

I agree with what everyone said! Be yourself. Be prepared but don't sit there and practice interview questions all day and night, you don't want to look reheorificed like a robot. Just be confident and be yourself, show your personality.

And for clothes dress to impress but make sure you're comfortable in what you're wearing. I am not a blazer or high heel wearing type of girl so I always just wore a nice shirt with a cardigan over it and dress pants and flats. Look nice but be comfortable!

When you've been asked scenario based questions. Do you have to respond ASAP or can you take some time to calmly gather your thoughts first?
