meandragonbrett....thanks you're a lot of help. Not.
I think what meandragonbrett was trying to say is, what do you know, and what specifically do you need to know? We are not here to do your homework, and it helps a lot of times, and will get you better answers, if you shed some of your information on the subject. Otherwise it looks like you want someone else to do all your work.
So, what specifically do you need to know... what do you think about those topics???
Well if he said it the way you did maybe I would have a better understanding. But I guess it was the way I asked for help.
I have been reviewing our material. I feel like I know that our ABCs are always to be considered for our nursing inteventions. Our professor gave us a sample scenario dealing with a pt. experiencing DKA. She asked what would be our first intervention. The choices were........
(a) Oxygen administration (b) place cardiac monitor © administer iv fluids.
The answer was b, but in our slides it does not say that. I thought we must prioritize airway. See I thought I knew, but I really don't.

I was going over our study guide for our first exam this Monday for Nursing Care for Adults. There was still a topic I needed help with. I wanted to know what rules other than the ABCs and how to determine priorities with patients with CKD, diabetes and SLE.
Also, how and what nursing interventions should considering for these patients.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this. =)
