First DON job

Hello everyone, I have been a nurse for a while (14 years), this is my first management gig. I am on day 2 at a small chemical dependency treatment facility. Only 3 clients at this time. I Have a BSN and completed my didactic for my APRN. This job is M-F 7-3p and I can do my clinical on the weekend. I could really use some guidance, as I am kind of winging it. I really want to get our charting in line with UR, and make sure I run a tight ship. So any feed back would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I would suggest checking out the speciality forum pages and also reaching out to colleagues in your area who work in similar roles. Ask your manager for support- get connected with the correct people in your organisation/ network.
