I finished my Associates degree program today, pinning and graduation is a couple of weeks away. Im feeling excited, happy and overwhelmed! Is it normal to feel worried about what you don't know yet or things you haven't done? I am taking a prep course for the NCLEX so when I get my approval to test I can schedule to take it ASAP! Can anyone share their NCLEX stories with me or how they felt when finishing their program?

I have no stories. I start my first quarter of nursing school in a few weeks. Just wanted to give you a congratulations and wish you the best of luck on the NCLEX. :)
Thank you so much! I wish you luck as well! Nursing school is hard but it is worth it! Please post about your experience.

Congrats! Welcome to the next step in your nursing journey! Well, my nursing program used Kaplan (it was integrated into our program in our 6th semester) I found it extremely helpful in preparing me for the NCLEX. I used Kaplan as my only tool and the newest edition of Saunders NCLEX prep content review because the reality of the matter is that there is still so much information that wasn't covered in nursing school.
As far as the actual NCLEX, when you schedule your test, don't change the date. Stick to it. If you change it you will mostly likely change it again and again only prolonging needing to take it. Everyone's experience is different and don't let the number of questions scare you. One of my professors in nursing school use to tell us "every question is your chance to pass" so if you get 76 or 125 or even 265, every question after 75 you are still in the game. The test hasn't given up on you.
You are preparing to enter into a whole new kind of stress which is normal. The stress of the NCLEX and the stress of finding a job. As far as job hunting goes (just a little pearl for when the time comes, don't worry about it so much now) is to research those hosptials that you really want to work at. Research their history, their mission, their values because all of that knowledge about their facility and their history will make you stand out! I promise you!
All of your feelings are normal! Congrats again!
