This has been the most brutal summer of my life.
Like some of you, I took both AP I and AP II this summer over 10 weeks. This was the most difficult class I have ever taken in my entire life...lightening pace...almost more information than your mind could possibly absorb between exams.
I've done pretty good...I got a "B" for the first session (missed an A by 1 1/2 points) I have a really good shot at getting an A for AP II...I'll find out on Sunday.
My advice to anyone considering it for next summer....the students who worked, did not do well at all...they were struggling to maintain a C. It took every ounce of dedication that I had in my poor body to keep up the pace for 10 weeks.
It does feel good to get these classes out of the way.

CONGRATS!!!!! :balloons: :monkeydance:
I can't believe your teacher wouldn't bump that up to an A!!! That really bites!!! But a B is not bad!!!! And your looking at an a for the 2nd course, so that is great!!!
I'm glad your hectic summer classes are done...enjoy whatever you may have for a break!!!

Yes, have yourself a lemonade, or hey, if you are anything like me, put some tequila in it and call it a margarita! I bet you are able to finally breath. I can't imagine doing what you did.
What is the difference between I and II?

Is A+P II harder than A+P I? I thought it might not be, because alot of the terminology is ingrained now.
Honestly? I thought it was easier...but how our course was taught, is we started with the basic regions of the body, the chemistry of anatomy, the cells of anatomy, the tissues of anatomy (and so forth), in API...so by the time we got to APII, we were dealing with things that you already have had alot of education on already, such as the digestive system, the heart, blood vessels, reproduction, etc.
That is what made it easier for me.

Grats to you!
Me, I finish this coming Thursday, did the same as you A&P I&II in 10 weeks... So much information I thought my head was gonna explode.
I managed to get a low A in the first half and I am getting a High A in the second half... highest grade in the class at that.
You really do need a lot of time to study in a class like this, you could tell who was studying and who wasn't by the grades.

Wow, congrats! How did u do it? Please teach me your tricks. I'll be taking AP1 this coming fall and i'm almost freaking out about it>
I got lucky....this teacher was much more difficult, because a huge part of her exams were essay...but she gave us the questions in advance (they took HOURS to complete) and you had to know them from memory...the rest was labeling and multiple choice...of course, we knew what the labeling would be, but not the multiple choice...she did PPP that hit the highlights of the chapter to sort through the "fluff".
She was just wonderful and so organized...her exams were much harder, but you knew what to study for, so in essance that made it easier.

U certainly got lucky. I wish I'll get a teacher like that. Anyways, thanks alot.
That's exactly how ours is set up. Hopefully it will go smoothly. I am nervous about taking A+P II and Microbiology at the same time.
