finish my career in the U.S

what do I need to do in order to transfer my nursing credits to a US collegue.

-I do have 118 credits towards a BSN (in Costa Rica That is), I did not finish the degree and came to the us 9 years ago. Now I will like to go back to school here (i'm a resident soon to be citizen) and get it done once and for all. I live in NJ. does anyone have an idea into how to start the process?

You will need to ask at your local school. Not all schools will accept transfer of credits. May want to post this also in the NJ state forum

I am in the same boat helping a worker whom just got back from Philippines this week.

He has met a nursing student who has 2 years of Nursing education, I told him to let her finish school in PI.

He is thinking they will transer her credit to US school and she will go from there, I highly doubt this.

I would be interested in finding out what answers you get, Thanks..
