if you are just getting your certification a lot of hospitals won't hire cna (or cnts) with that year experience. You are limiting yourself to days (which is okay) and hospitals (which is cool, i guess) but there are hundreds of people doing the same. Have you considered ltc?
what is ltc?
Thank you

So basically I have no shot at a hospital right now? I just got my CNA license several months ago and I'm an ADN student (just about done with the second semester - I guess I should change my screen name:D)...however, my full time job is still the job I was doing before I got into the nursing program (accounts payable at home office of a large retail company)

I'm not saying you don't have a shot but a lot of posts (majority) state in the description that you need at least one year of similar work experience.
