financial assistance

Published

Hello!

I have been accepted into an accelerated BSN program that requires me to not be employed. It is a 12 month program and I am wondering if anyone out there may have any ideas as to any assistance during this time?

Thanks!

If you have not already done so, apply for private student loans to help with living expenses. Entities such as Sallie Mae, Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citibank and local credit unions offer private student loans.

My final suggestion might be controversial, but I suggest you maintain at least part time employment during the program. Most programs advise or forbid students from working, but this recommendation is not based in reality for those of us who are nontraditional students with adult obligations.
