Financial Aid Question

Specialties CRNA

Published

Hi all,

I have been accepted into a CRNA program that begins in Sept 07. I was advised to start taking some classes over the summer so it would not be as intense once school started. I enrolled for three and began taking them 5 weeks ago online. I was told by financial aid office to submit FAFSA and I would get tuition paid through financial aid. I have just been informed that I am ineligible because I am not matriculated?? The classes are expensive and I really expected federal aid to pick this up and don't want to go to private loans yet. Anyone else experienced this - did you find a way around it or did you end up paying out of pocket/using private loans.

Thanks

A matriculated student has been accepted for admission to the college, has registered in a curriculum and is pursuing courses toward a degree or certificate.

Sounds like you need to talk to an Admissions Advisor and Financial Aid Advisor and get some issues straightened out. A good Fianacial aid advisr can get you on the right track.

It Sounds Like The Crna Program Isn't Showing You As An Admission Yet, Could Be Just A Matter Of Timing, I Think You Should Wait Till About 30 Dys Before You Start And Reapply.

What is with capitalizing the first letter of every word? Do you have a macro that does that automatically. i'm lucky if i capitalize all of the appropriate words as it is, let alone more than i need to.
