Financial Aid Letter - Vanderbilt

Specialties NP

Published

Should I take it as a good sign that I recieved the financial aid packet, or is it standard protocol that all applicants recieve one? Thanks in advance!!!!

I would think the wait list is hopeful. I went to the open house over the weekend, and you never know life does happen, people apply to more than one school, or the finances doesn't happen like they had hoped, ect. some get married, or have babies. so I would be hopeful anyway.

For the people that have heard back already, did you get a letter as well as an email notification?

I only recieved a letter. Good luck!

I am still waiting...... But I have applied to the direct entry program. Hopefully soon.

Hi all! Joining the conversation a little late here, but I was wait-listed at for pre-specialty Acute Care NP (super excited!) I too am anxious to hear about their decisions on those of us still in limbo...have any of you all heard anything from them recently? I was thinking of giving them a call soon to check in. Good luck to any still waiting to hear!

Has anyone had any news lately? I applied very late to the Acute Care program, but am going to stay hopeful!

I applied earlier this month (April) to the direct entry FNP program. Still waiting to hear something. I received the financial aid packet, and have since applied for it and for the scholarships through Vanderbilt. As I stated in another post on another thread, it seems crazy that Vanderbilt would waste $1.32 in stamps to send out financial aid information to applicants they have no intention of accepting or wait-listing. After reading up on the program, and on the university itself, I really hope I'm accepted to the FNP program this year. If not, I'll definitely be asking them why, and reapplying in December. The waiting feels like forever!
