Finally took my PAX!

So I finally got to take my PAX exam today as of 9AM Est. and I am so relieved that it is over with! It was probably the hardest test I've had to take thus far in my College career because it is completely comprehensive of every subject I've ever had to learn!

My scores turned out pretty well I think, I studied for 3 months approximately. A little at each setting every night for approximately 1 hour-2hours.

Composite: 140

Math: 82nd Percent Correct/ 92

Verbal: 80 Percent Correct/92

Science: 76 Percent Correct/96

If you take the PAX on the computer beware of how to read your results! The percentage correct does not correlate with a relative performance, and if you are attending a University that only has an RN program it will only show you relative performances of that degree obviously. Anyways what are some of your guys worst memories of studying for the PAX? Mine definitely was the ammount of late nights I fell asleep in the University library staring at Physics problems that looked like a foreign language inverted. I'm pretty interested to find out how many other people had some humorous times studying for this test.

What is the PAX? My school doesn't require it.

Hi Cllaw889,

congrats on your score. Did you use any additional resource/s for studying other than the NLN study guide? If yes, what did you use?

Thanks.

I used freerice.com vocabulary tests in addition to the study guide. The study guide 3rd edition is spot on for mathematic and science preparation. Also I would search physics guides on cliff notes because their were a lot of physics questions. Good luck and keep a level head you'll do fine!
