Some of you may remember the thread I did in March regarding my dissatisfaction with my job (https://allnurses.com/forums/f8/i-ve-had-long-289266.html) Well after a few months of biding my time, going to several interviews, I finally had an interview where I was knocked off my socks.

Today I accepted a night shift position on the Med Surg Oncology unit of a hospital about 45mins to 1 hr away. I'll probably be relocating closer to save on gas. Better pay, better benefits, and the manager seems exceptional! I'm really excited, I have a really good feeling about this job I start on July 21st, so tomorrow I have to give my notice. I am probably going to stay Flex/PRN at my current job though. I'm just so happy, I've been so miserable where I'm at now for so long. I just wanted to share my happiness!!

Specializes in Onco, palliative care, PCU, HH, hospice.

Thank you all so much! I start on July 21st, I can't wait!!
