Finally got approved for my license after a long background check :)

It's about time. It took nearly a year from the time I graduated up until now to get approved. I took my NCLEX and passed a while ago, but was discouraged when I heard about the background check process. Yeah, I had a past, but that was over 8 years ago. I'm just happy that after all the letters of recommendation from my school and following the background check guidelines (which is extremely extensive in California), I am now able to work as a nurse.
