Wow I'm finally finished with all of my Nursing concepts for EC I'm so pleased with myself. Took nc 6 yesterday and passed. ( that test was the hardest for me, SOO much info !) I was just informed today I will receive a scholarship from EC towards my CPNE. Oh Yeah... BUT... I still have 4 gen ed's to complete. I know I did it backwards, but I was on a deadline to complete my NC's due to the new curriculum. So, my dilemma is, I would like to use clep and dantes for Life span, Ethics and Biology.... Does anyone have any info on these exams, such as, Difficulty level ?, Where I can find study guides ?, How long does it take them to send my grades to Excelsior?. Any info would be so welcome Thanks!

clep is not too difficult, but you do have to study. I always use the Rea clep study guides, they are the best. sweet and too the point, i have never failed a clep yet after taking about 6 clep's, and 5 DSST.
Thank you,Smit and E for the reply. Wow I didn't know penn forster offered it also, I guess i will look into route that also. Thanks again!
penn foster offers the info lit for 90 bucks, EC wants like $300. happy holidays!!!!!

Do you have to be CPNE elgible to receive a scholarship, I haven't received 1 yet and my efc is 0. I have completed all my nursing exams but I am waiting on excelsior to evaluate my transcript so I can take the FCCA. I completed info lit through penn foster on Monday, so I guess I have to wait.....
@ healthcare, you can pm me here, if you like. I will try and answer any of your questions @ Tiff, i don't think you have to be CPNE ready to receive a scholarship. I will be cpne ready after I complete 1 more of my 4 gen eds. But you do have to fill out the fin. aide form. Hope this helps.
