It's been 7 months since I graduated and started working as a Staff RN on a Med-Surg/Telemetry floor and I am finally starting to feel better about my job. I am even starting to *gasp* enjoy it. I have had a rough 7 months, with dreading going to work every and hating it while I was there and not being able to sleep. But over the last couple of weeks it has just started getting better.
I don't know if it is my attitude towards my job that is better, or the fact that I am now a little more comfortable at work and with the other staff that I work with, but it is so nice to finally feel this way. I have still had bad days, a couple of really bad ones, and I am exhausted right now from working five 12 hour shifts with only one day off in between, but I am starting to remember why I wanted to be a nurse in the first place. :balloons:
