You cannot possibly go over all of the material. Try to pinpoint more closely what they want you to know for this test. Get a focus. Then, go over your notes. Go over the chapter summaries. Think about what you would write if you were to answer the study questions at the end of the chapters. Read the boxes and examples in the chapters. Try to get a friend to read and explain their notes to you. I'll pray for you.
This may not be of much help to you now, but I always make it a point to read the chapters in advance. You've already got the book and you know it will be covered sooner or later so just get it read ahead of time. It helps me understand the lecture much better if I have some idea what the instructor's talking about by reading the chapter beforehand.
Whenever I am studying for a test I review every bit of material that was covered in class. As I go through it, if there is anything I don't know, I write it down in a notebook. Then I keep going through my notebook repeatedly until I know everything. It takes a lot of time to do this. If your textbook has an associated website, you may be able to find online quizzes, flashcards, etc. These save me a lot of time when reviewing coursework. I always make up my own flashcards covering the material I find more difficult and carry a few of them in my purse so I can study even when I'm not home.
Realistically, if you have to learn 7 chapters of material you have never seen before in 3 days, I think it would be very difficult. I would break it up into ~2 chapters per day and just learn everything I could for each chapter in that time frame. Good luck. It sounds like a challenge.
Get into an RN NCLEX exam practice questions and answers book! Go over each subjects matierial - the books give an overview of each chapter you will be tested on and the answers to many questions! I found that just reading the overviews on the subjects that I was to be tested on REALLY helped me when I was in a hurry to study alot of info at a time!! Good luck!
All of my text books have come with a CD that's got NCLEX-style questions. I haven't read all semester, but I have answered all of the questions before each exam. Reviewing the lecture powerpoints, questions, and chapter summaries has gotten me through quite well. If you have CDs available, I would start there. Best of luck!

Hi guys I need some help. How do you study new material that you just got today for 7 chapters and study for a comprehensive final that all takes place on this Thursday. I just passed my last test with being 2 points from a B. I have to pass this final in order to pass the class. So I need some advice on how to study for this final. Oh yeah I was wondering also since its on 7 chapters plus all the stuff we learned earlier this semester should I even bother to try to read those chapters or should I just go from my notes and look at the boxes in the chapters. Any advice is helpful.
